Habitat for Humanity Build Days
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver builds and sells homes to hard-working people in need of decent and affordable housing. They are an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Founded by volunteers in 1979, they have since then built 360 homes in the Denver metro area, housing well over 1,500 people. They are recognized as one of the finest affiliates in the country and were honored in 2005 as the National Affiliate of the Year. HHMD also consistently win awards for their top-rated energy efficient homes, which are well-built, easy to maintain and enhance the neighborhoods in which they build. www.habitatmetrodenver.org
