City of Boulder, Office of Environmental Affairs - Green Building Trainers

The City of Boulder has been a pioneer in green building since 1980, when the Energy Options Points program, the predecessor to the city's Green Points program, was first implemented.  Since then, green building has gained momentum throughout Boulder County and around the world.  The purpose of the Green Points program is to require builders and homeowners to adopt green building practices locally.  In addition, the program has become a model for other communities interested in enhancing quality of life and reducing the environmental impacts of the local building stock. www.bouldergreenpoints.com
